Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star starting pitcher Paul Skenes has joined the team’s Spring Training workouts in Florida this week.
While the Pirates ace is preparing for the 2026 season and next month’s World Baseball Classic for Team USA, his girlfriend Olivia Dunne celebrated Valentine’s Day with her friends in Florida over the weekend.
The former LSU gymnast shared a glimpse of her “Galentines” party in her Instagram story on Sunday. She shared a picture of her outing with her friend Lillian Wessel holding a big red bow tie on her head.

Earlier this week, Dunne attended the Pirates’ Spring Training workouts in Bradenton, Florida, to support her boyfriend. She also shared a sweet message for Skenes Valentine’s Day. She shared a picture of Skenes with a smig pose in her Instagram story, writing:
“Happy Valentine’s to you fine sir.”
Dunne, who retired from gymnastics last year, started dating Skenes during their time together at LSU. After Skenes was selected by the Pirates in the MLB draft, Dunne has been attending Pirates’ games to support her boyfriend.

Earlier this month, Olivia Dunne teased her Valentine’s Day plan with the Pirates ace with People magazine on the red carpet at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl Party in San Francisco.
Maybe for Valentine’s Day, that (dinner date) would be cool,” Dunne said.
During the interview, the former LSU gymnast said that Paul Skenes planned their “date nights” and is good at surprises.
“Even the other day, I came back from a photo shoot, and he set up flowers and got a charcuterie board because he knew it’s just such a long day,” Dunne said. “It was actually after shooting my commercial for Fanatics. So he is actually such a lover boy. He really is.”
Dunne is expected to cheer from the stands when Skenes’ makes his World Baseball Classic debut for Team USA next month.
