According to the Associated Press, Ball was driving through an intersection when he collided with a car around 5 p.m. in Charlotte. There were police at the scene, and they quickly checked on Ball and the other driver.

Pictures from the scene showed that LaMelo Ball’s Hummer lost a tire due to the accident. It’s not known where Ball is going or coming from, but the Charlotte Hornets had practice earlier in the day.
The Hornets are one of the hottest teams in the league before the All-Star break, with a record of 9-1 in their last 10 games. They will resume their season on Thursday at home, welcoming the Houston Rockets at the Spectrum Center.
