Recently, the South Korean reality survival show, Battle of Fates, premiered with its first four episodes through its original network, Disney+. The show revolves around gathering 49 fate readers from across South Korea, involved in various practices such as tarot, shamanism, physiognomy, saju, and many more.
The contestants, using their own divination methods, are expected to overcome challenges and missions that are designed to test their ability to predict fate or destiny. The participants can also bring their own materials and tools required for their spiritual rituals. Battle of Fates will follow a survival elimination format where the contestants failing their missions will be removed as the show proceeds towards its finale, leaving behind one ultimate winner.
The series will be hosted by a group of MCs, who also stand as judges, namely Jun Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae, Park Ha-sun, Shindong, and Kang Ji-young. Following it’s premired on February 11, 2026, and holds a total of ten episodes, with the finale scheduled on March 4, 2026. On February 11, along with the premiere episode of South Korea’s latest supernatural survival show, Battle of Fates, the 49 participating contestants, otherwise known as fate readers, were also unveiled. However, the introduction failed to introduce all participating contestants, leaving around 2-3 contestants unveiled.
